Ahmad Soebardjo was one of diplomat, one of indonesia's founding fathers and national hero.  He was the first Foreign Minister of Indonesia. Ahmad Soebardjo was born on 23 March 1896 and died on 15 December 1978 (age 82) because of influenza complications.

His full name is Raden Ahmad Soebardjo Djojoadisoerjo. Initially, his father (Teuku Muhammad Yusuf) gave him the name Teuku Abdul Manaf. His father was an Acehnese patrician from Pidie. His mother, Wardinah also gave him a name, Ahmad Soebardjo. She was of Javanese-Buginese descent. 'Djojoadisoerjo' was added by himself when he was arrested in Ponorogo prison because of his involvement with the July 3, 1946 accident.

There so many thing that Ahmad Soebardjo did to our beloved country. Do you know that he was already start his strugle when he was a student? As a student, he was active in the fight for Indonesia Indepence organization suck like Jong Java and Perhimpoenan Indonesia. There were so many thing that Ahmad Soebardjo did for this country like contribute on Rengasdengklok incident, making the text of proclamtion, and on 19 August 1945, two days after the Proclamation of Indonesia Independence on 17 August 1945, Sukarno appointed Soebardjo as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Presidential Cabinet, Indonesia's first cabinet for 4 months and immediately started the first Foreign Ministry office at his own residence in Jalan Cikini raya.
